    This is what I did...and here's the trick. OFFER TO SPONSOR A JUNIOR! 
    They tend to have good experienced horses....they're stuck with you no
    matter what pace you want to set. If you scream, "Get in front of me and
    slow this horse down!" They probably will.  They also wait for you at the
    vet checks.  I sponsored a junior for the first 2 years I rode Kaboot and
    that's probably the only thing that kept me alive.  Pick one with a broad
    butt (the horse...junior is optional) that doesn't kick and can block the
    trail.  Hopefully their horse also knows to drink and eat.  The best part
    about riding with juniors is that they never talk about divorces or
    ex-spouses. :-)
