rofl, yeah the first 100 miles went exceptionally well.  It wasn't until 
the third ride that I forgot how to stay on top of the horse <G>.  Aside 
from an unfortunate accident, the horse was handling the starts and in and 
out of camp calmly and like a seasoned veteran.  We even took a couple of 
hundred photos :>).

I would still do it exactly the same if I had it to do over.  I don't think 
horses really learn anything on shorter distance rides.
