    Some riders I know use the twist caps for splicing electrical wires. You
    have to determine the correct size and they are inexpensive enough to buy
    them by the dozen. They determine how many syringes they will need for a
    particular ride and then prefill them and secure the ends using the
    electrical twist caps.
    As for me, I carry a couple of empty syringes with me and when needed, fill
    them from a quart size wide mouth drinking bottle which fits snugly in one
    of my front water bottle holders. I premix, then blend the elytes with
    pro-bi, applesauce.
