[RC] Owyhee High Country - now a 2-day ride - Steph Teeter

I've sanctioned a second day for the Labor Day weekend ride in southwest
Idaho - Owyhee High Country . Here's the new info:

Owyhee High Country Ride is now a Two-Day Ride:

Labor Day Weekend: Saturday August 31 and Sunday September 1

Saturday - Day 1: 50 miles, 30 miles and Trail Ride
50 and 30 milers will have a 30 mile loop into the mountains with one out
vet-check. Elevation will range from 3000 ft (basecamp) to 5500 ft at
highest point. There will be one short steep climb, the rest will be a
moderate ascent and a moderate descent. Some rocky stretches, pads or
easyboots would be a good idea if you plan on going fast or your horses aren
?t used to the rock. 50 milers will have an additional 20 mile loop out of
base camp. Trail is primarily 2-track, some cow trails, some cross country.
Different trail from the 2001 ride. Minimal sand.

Sunday - Day 2: 100 miles, 55 miles, 30 miles and Trail Ride
100 and 55 milers will do a 55 mile loop up into the mountains. Elevation
will range from 3000 ft (basecamp) to 6400 feet. One 4 mile stretch of
fairly steep rocky climb along a jeep road, otherwise moderate ascents and
descents with good footing. Pads or easyboots recommended for the rocky
stretches. This trail is awesome with incredible views! If you?re only going
to do one day, this will be the most beautiful. The 20 mile mountain section
will be fairly challenging with rolling ups and downs, but the rest will be
pretty good going. Mostly 2-track, some dirt road, some cow trails, some
cross country. 100 milers will have additional flat (relatively) desert
loops in the morning and in the evening. 30 milers will have 2 loops out of
camp. Different trail from the 2001 ride. Minimal sand.

100 Milers: Please let me know if you?re planning on coming. Since you may
be arriving later than the Saturday riders, I can save you a camping place
    close to the vetting area.
