I don't know Karen at all - but I have appreciated her sharing pictures and stories of different rides with RC over the years. I read her ER story and had a few good chuckles! I read a thread of humor throughout...
And yes, until recently I worked for years in both inpatient and outpatient care in an inner-city hospital (although not in the ER).
I vote that we all keep on sharing our stories. If I ever have a question as to anyone's intent that's meaningful to me, I'll ask "what did you mean by that?" This is coming from someone who once told a story on RC and had a similar experience with responses.
