Roger--Have you tried electro-stim? I get three treatments a week plus 
trigger point. My bad fall was last May and yes it still hurts. I do ride but 
some days am in a  lot of pain. Had another fall just a few weeks ago 
(different horse) but I just won't stop riding. MRI was clear...hope yours is 
too. Head/neck injuries take a long time to heal...and I doubt  you really 
get over it. I now take 800mgs before a long ride....and Soma after if I 
really start to hurt.
