    I feel pretty comfortable in saying that endurance is the most difficult, challenging endeavor that one can ever asked from a horse.  
    
    Sorry guys, but I disagree.  I have ridden endurance for some 27 years and think that the "hardest" sport a horse can do must be Three Day Eventing.  They have to do the jumping, endurance and dressage.  The training alone is not only physically but mentally difficult for the horse and I think it takes really special horses to do that kind of discipline....Of course that is just an opinion cause while I have shown Saddlebreds, TWH, and western horses I have never done eventing.  mb
