Ridecamp: [RC] Generic Adequan

I'm not sure my post on "Generic Adequan" ever came up on the archives
yesterday. Since someone asked a question about it I thought I'd post
again.

The "Generic Adequan" I mentioned is not injectible Glucosamine. It's
It's called Chondroprotec Made by Triple Crown out of Lexington, KY. I
got it from my vet. He sells it in a 2 dose vial for I believe $56 per
bottle.  It is not Glucosamine, it's Polysulfated
Glycosaminoglycan...just like Adequan is I think.  Since I already had
some Adequan when I bought it I'm just now getting ready to start using
this stuff.  Won't be able to tell you how it works though since with my
horse I never really saw a difference with Adequan. Just preventative I
guess.
