Re: RC: Teeth, worms and the XP 2001

Kristen, I just can't pass this up! This just struck my funny bone. My
apologies in advance <ROFL>

Are you referring to your teeth or your horse's?

I have my horse's teeth (and mine) checked every six months. (Hopefully,
mine don't need "floatin")

You can rotate left or right...either will work as long as it ends up in
the horse and not you.

You should alternate something like Strongid with Zimecterin every other
month if you want to do it that often. I only do one of each in
consecutive months spring and fall, but I have a fecal analysis
performed twice a year to verify the absence of parasites. That costs
about $12, which is cheaper than worming every other month and less
stressful on the horse.

My crew has volunteered....IMHO, they are one of the best in the
Southeast...but only if you pay their transportation from Georgia. They
don't eat a lot....however, Gabe does have a beer ration allowance.....

Hope this helps....
