RE: Patagonia Tights



Actually, the fabric durability is the main issue. Patagonia’s tights feel like the softest cotton, keep their stretch forever and maybe start developing the odd pill after 7 or 8 years.  The only thing that didn’t hold up were the knee patches, but I found them more comfortable without anyway.  Maybe they were TOO durable!

From what Maryanne said about durability under the Egyptian

sun, the issue isn't only copying the design, it's finding the same

fabric that Patagonia used.  I'd wonder if Maryanne's insider

friend could find out who the old fabric supplier was.
