RE: RE: Velcro stronger than Steel??

Yeah, but lifting something like that over my head is a lot harder than just swinging something over!  That would have been my tie of choice if they were still in business, too.  I think Sky Hook is looking pretty good right now, but anybody else has something to say?

I'll be really sorry if Trail-or Tie is out of business.  I own 4 and have been generally pleased.  I tend to think simple is the best way to go and their ties are simple.  Kathy, even with Trailor-ties you do have to climb up, unpeg and move the tie against the trailer each time.  I haven't seen a horse containment system that doesn't have its problems and trailer ties aren't magic, but they are better than most and a heck of a lot easier.  Maybe someone will buy the manufacturing rights and bring them back.

I had the same questions myself.  I saw the Spring Tie at the Convention, and the only thing that I really didn’t like is that you have to take it down every time, and I’m too short to want to do that all the time.  I belive the Skyhook Tether stays attached and you just swing it back to the trailer.  I heard also the Trail-Lor ties was out of business.  Someone want to enlighten me more?
