Most likely the patent on Adaquan has expired so that a generic can be sold. I remember hearing a couple years ago this was the case.

Adequan is polysulfated glucosaminoglycan which is not the same.  I know a lot of people who use the glucosamine and swear by it.  I still use the Adequan.......mb
