Feet on the WRRT



Just to clarify a point for the Weiser River Rail Trail ride.

Horses only need to have some kind of hoof protection to start the 25 and 50
mile rides.

Shoes,   shoes with pads/packing,  any kind of boots with or without shoes.
You can do the indian thing and lace on rawhide covers if you like,  just so
they have some protection.

As I said before, this is not the ride to test with no shoes, both for the
safety of your horse and the image of our sport.

I hope by the coming season we can have a list of rides folks can go to
barefoot.
