When ever we've had to put a horse down, we hire a backhoe to come out and
dig a hole ...the vet comes out and puts the horse down so that they are
lying right next to the hole...and we pull the horse over and into the
hole...then the hole is filled and in a couple of cases we've put markers on
the graves..
