Angie,

Where are you located? Mosquitoes and flies...I am in eastern SC.

I have found antihistomine treatment to do well. IE calomine lotion and even vet recomended (Ask Yours First!!) a benedryl tablet. I do wash with dial antibacterial soap and rinse well. Let dry, then apply lotion.
