girth trouble

I am having girth chafe problems. My "horse" is about 14H and his girth 
groove is very far forward. Neoprene heated him up, and the mohair girth I 
got is too wide behind the buckles. The floppy skin behind his elbow is 
getting pushed into the leading edge of the girth as the leg comes back. I 
don't seem to be able to find a contoured dressage girth. The long english 
contoured girths are easy to find but not the short ones. Shadow thanks you
