She could not claim it (your CTR) as a personal deduction. However, if she 
owns her own business, she could claim it as a marketing/advertising 
expense.
Write her a promo agreement that says you will ride with her logo and her 
business will pay all the expenses submitted. Store the receipts with the 
agreement for business tax purposes.

Don't know how that would work out with AERC or your other memberships. Make 
sure there are no penalties for "professional riders" as accepting a fee 
like that probably takes you out of any amateur competitions.

If my mom bought and paid for all of my CTR stuff (I am an adult, 34, but
mom wants to do something for me.) Could she claim all that horsey stuff
