Re: AAA

It's not always the case that AAA tow truck drivers will go off road to help
you out. I was told that it's solely at the truck driver's discretion
whether or not he ventures off a paved road. A few years ago, the battery
in my LQ rig died and I needed to jump the generator. It was at the
Casper's ride, I was maybe fifteen feet off the p;aved road, and dispute
recent rain, the grass base was firm enough to support 40' of trailer
without sinking into the mud. The driver said he wouldn't go off road,
couldn't have cared less that he was stranding me in the middle of nowhere,
and the dispatcher said they couldn't/wouldn't do anything additional. It
was Barney Fleming who helped me out, certainly not AAA. I would *never*
rely on Auto Club if I were off road.
