Yes, you should.  It helps keep them from rubing the hoof wall, & keeps sand
and small pebbles from entering the boot.  Just did the Tevis with foamed on
Easyboots on the fronts.  3 weeks before that did the Timberon 5 day ride
(275 miles) with foamed on Easyboots.  Been doing this method for years now.
