A friend of mine uses this on a couple horses that have had colic
surgery.  Seems to help.  I know it did wonders for her cat.  He was on
thyroid medication, a necessity but very hard on the system.  She tried
the Fastrack and it was amazing.  As long as he got it he was fine; if
someone else fed him and forgot it, within a day he'd be throwing up
again. He liked the taste and lived for at least 5 years on it; the vet
was so amazed he had her pick some up for him and passed it on to other
clients.  He said it was very unusual for a cat to live that long on this
medication as it was so hard on the system.
So I don't know how much good it would do just for the heck of it, but if
there's a problem I wouldn't hesitate to give it a try.
