    Congradulations!!!!  Funny how these horses seem
to find us when we least expect it. I was looking for
a solid trail gelding I could relax and have fun on
without worrying about spooking, greeness ect. After
all, I reasoned, I've been training these young horses
the past 20 yrs. When ever I got them to a point where
they were pretty solid citizens, someone would buy
them and once again I'd find myself starting at ground
zero....sigh... Daisy just found me, I wasn't even
looking. After all she was a FILLY (not me, I'll never
have a PMSing filly), young (2yrs) and green broke(had
9 times under saddle). everyone, myself included,
thought oldtimers had settled in my brain. Was I out
of my ever loving mind????  So far Daisy is working
out great. She loves the trails, hates the ring work,
has her mareish moments but overall is a sweetie that
really wants to please me. I truely believe that God
has a hand in choosing our horse buddies for us, even
if to hear him we have to close our minds to the
negatives and open our hearts to the wonderous
possibilities!

   Teach her to spook in place during your ground work
phase. Will save alot of problems later on down the
road.
