They shot the grizzly night before last..Boy..the politics on that little
deal were absurd (to say the least!)...Drin and her group stayed Saturday
night after the ride...I hadn't mentioned anything about the Grizzly...not
wanting a bunch of hysterical riders out on the trail!..anyway...they tied
their horses to the trailers and went down the valley to eat at our little
Nine Mile Bar and Restaurant...Where they learned of the Grizzly who had
been getting way tooo friendly.  They cut their meal short and raced back to
ride camp expecting to find empty halters hanging off the trailers! That
bear was much more interested in full garbage cans then smelly horses.
His presence did manage to thin out some of the mushroom hunters...which is
a good thing!
