Fa Al Badi+/

Hi All,
This is hard to write but I wanted to let you all know that Fa Al Badi+/,
affectionately known as Bo, broke his leg yesterday. Bo and I have completed
over 3500 miles together and he was the most fun endurance horse I have ever
ridden. Some of our best memories were finishing the Old Dominion as our
first 100 with all As, 1992 Region 9 IAHA champion with a dead heat race
against Barbie Barber and Kash, and his 3500th mile, finishing the grueling,
muddy HOT 2 day Lone Star ride in 99 with As in gait.
He was just beginning to really be "noticed" as an endurance breeding
stallion by the record of his daughter, Ffire Storm.
He is 18 years old. I rode him endurance for thirteen years.

It is a very bad break, complete, above the hock. He was in with a breeding
mare, so he either got kicked or fell. I took him to the best vet in the
world, a five hour drive to Dr. Dane Frazier.

Please think of us when Dane does surgery tomorrow.
Thanks.
Louise
