OF and over kill

OF are fixed and repaired by Clint who lives in MO. There is another
person, and Clint knows who, who deals in OF with the flex 1 system.
Clint's address and phone # were posted to ridecamp a few weeks ago.
As for overkill. As far as I know, Howard only almost killed one horse. He
learned from the experience. At least he learned. The other horse he was
talking about was someone elses. Having been in this sport for 30 years, I
have seen folks almost kill or over run their horses and then proceed to go
on and do the same thing to the next horse they own. My hat is off to
Howard, offensive as he can be, because he LEARNED and CARES about his
horse. Sad to say but we all are not like that. It takes guts to admit
that one was stupid and to take fully the blame for one's actions. How
many of us can admit when we are wrong?Distance riding is a tough sport.
Anything can happen on trail no matter how prepared one is. But then I
figure being on a horse booking down trail is better than keeping the horse
in a padded stall. Jeanie
