Stallion Behavior

IMHO, If your stallion will not stand nose to nose with another horse,
it IS your fault. There should be no difference in behavior between a
stallion, a gelding, and a mare at an Endurance Ride. It's simply a
matter of training. I rode 50 miles with Jerry Fruth and Jabask Knight
(Irene). You would never have known he was a stallion...at the water
trough or anywhere else. When Jerry spoke, Irene dropped his ears and
"Listened"....right now! There are many stallions who compete in
endurance who are gentlemen at all times. The fact that your horse is a
stallion is not an excuse for bad behavior...at the water trough or
anywhere else.
