billets

I have a couple OF saddles that I want to replace the billets on.  They
have the original leather billets but are starting to show wear and just
wondering which would be better:  1.  good leather, 2.  biothane, or 3. 
the new leather look biothane?  

I would appreciate any input from those that have changed or had problems
with any or maybe there is something better that what I have listed.
