Insults? You don't sweat all THAT much.

That reminds me of the story Art Linkletter tells.  He was at a banquet
and feeling unusually mean.  He nudged the guy beside him and said,
"That has to be the ugliest woman I've ever seen."  The guy responds,
"That's my wife."  Linkletter said, "I never missed a beat and said, 'No,
I know your wife, I'm talking about the woman sitting next to her.'"
Whereupon the guy said, "That's my mother."

Linkletter said, "I just turned to him, held my hands up and said, 'Take
your best shot.'"

I once told a cop investigating a hit and run where both the driver and
the victim disappeared, "He was a bit on the heavy side, like you."
