eggbar shoes

Do any of you use eggbars for the added heel protection they offer? Is
that a good idea or no? Tony's heels are a bit low and I wondered if
using eggbars would be enough coverage to keep the rocks from stinging him.

Any reason not to use eggbars for non-theraputic reasons?
