Another Sports Saddle Question

Thanks to everyone who responded, privately and on the board, to
my earlier question.  Several different pads were recommended.
My question is regarding the Toklet wool pads...do they add alot
of thickness between you and the horse?  One of my favorite things
about the Sports Saddle is the fact that you are sitting real 
close to the horse's back and can feel his muscles moving--I'd 
hate to get a pad so thick that I could no longer feel the horse 
as well.  Any thoughts?
