I'm not flaming, here, please understand. But Seattle Slew was NOT named 
because of a supposed defect. He was originally supposed to be named Seattle 
SLIM, and when the owners wrote that in on the request, the handwriting was 
so poor that the Jockey Club read it as "Slew".
