Yes, Bette, I think you're being a bit over-sensitive.

Angie's post was probably an attempt to shock you into seeing that your
responsibility to your kids includes taking care of yourself.  That, and it
was just her style <bg>.

And Heidi's post served to reinforce that responsibility.

Neither was an attack on you personally.  But they were strong statements of
the writers' opinions on the importance of helmets.
