I saw an interesting idea from the Charlotte's saddlery newsletter - they
suggest stacking some old tires, packing them with straw, then putting a 5
gallon bucket of water in the hole.  It's 'sposta be good insulation.
Sounds like a do-able idea, but I've not tried it....

If anyone tries it, let me know if it really works - I'd have to wire the
tires together or my horses would have a field day rolling them about. :-)
