While you can't pick the next Derby winner with certainty, you can certainly 
eliminate a lot that WON'T win the Derby based on pedigree.  If one looks at  
winners of all races of that calibre over time, certain family lines DO crop 
up.  And without some innate talent, not even DeWayne Lucas and Mr. Ivers' 
Wonder Concoctions will make a Derby winner, sorry...
