Our daughter and son-in-law have a gorgeous 16.1 hand Dutch Warmblood/Arab-TB 
cross gelding that has been trained to, I think, 1st level dressage and has 
also done two 100-mile Ride & Tie events, as well as 50-mile endurance rides. 
 His owners are great believers in dressage training to help the horses learn 
to use their backs and hindquarters to advantage in motoring down the trail.
