The effort to set regulations regarding the use of weed free feed in
California is still in the planning stages.  Negotiations among the
federal/state agencies and other stakeholders, such as trail/endurance
riders, are ongoing.

IMPORTANT: There is no requirement in the proposed regulations to
require that horses entering the parks or other affected lands be
"purged" first.  It was considered briefly early on and abandoned as
unworkable from a regulatory standpoint.
