The women's answer to the Jim Jones Stallion Award!  It's a brand new award 
honoring the high point MARE of the year, sponsored by Bazy Tankersley of Al 
Marah Arabians (thank you, Bazy!).  The Arabs of the desert were said to have 
ridden mares, rather than stallions, to war and were enormously proud and 
protective of this valuable sex.  Personally, I feel that mares are a lot 
smarter than geldings; at least my one mare is head and shoulders smarter 
than any gelding I have ever ridden.
