JMO, After going thru several vets with my horse's horrible injury/lameness
problems, I know to question my vet until we have a diagnosis that s/he can
clearly explain to me. If the vet can't provide a diagnosis, it's time to
get the horse to a vet with better tools. Vets are understanding about
changing clinics when the client is seeking a clear diagnosis that they
cannot provide. At least, mine were. Each time I changed clinics, it was
to have access to more diagnostic tools or better treatment facilities or to
have access to a vet that was more specialized. I don't know how a good vet
could be upset with a client about that.
