On two different occasions Kryo Kennetics put the wrong symbol and later
changed it without any problems, so I no longer believe they cannot be
changed also. There have been several instances where people have multi
numbered of the same colored horses and the person died or some unfortunate
thing happen where horses could not be id by owner so alot of guessing and
confusion went on trying to decided who was who. This especially happen when
you have several greys on a farm with no easily ID marks. This is another
good reason for freeze branding. I came to own a *Bask granddaughter and a
Arn-ett Perlane daughter from this kind of situation ... they were both the
only two in the herd of 20 grey mares with freeze brands.
