I have to say that I'm amazed at the lack of response to my
request to change the subject....  I hate to get hard-nosed about
things - and feel that everybody has a right to voice their
opinion. But the repetition, me too's, and haste with which some of you
berate others for their opinions and actions is tedious and
offensive to most of the RC subscribers. One of Ti's biggest
gripes about this list is the self-righteous and sanctimonious
attitude that some of you are so quick to don.  It is so easy
to condemn.  The heart of this sport is about toughness and
optimism and learning how to balance the desire to ride and/or
compete with the need to manage our horses to our best ability.
Yes, we need rules in this organized sport, but above that we
need to learn how to do it right - for us, and most importantly
for our horses.

Keep RC civil and you'll all find that the quality will stay high.

This list has been around since '95 I think.
It goes thru cycles where off topic stuff get's
hashed, and sometimes Steph steps in to get things back
on track.

It's looking un-sucessfull this time that she's able to
divert back to endurance related subjects.

This is not a list for parenting, preaching, judging
or giving the readers of this list your opinions on
what you think is safe or un-safe.
People make their own choices, like it or not... let
them BE.

I post as a guest because this way I don't have 50% junk
in my mail box, correct that.. lately it's 75% junk.
