In the Charro rodeos, horses are let loose in a big corral and chased by
"Charro's" on horseback. They exhibit fancy roping, in that they rope the
front legs of running horses; sending them crashing to the ground. Exremely
cruel, and somewhat hypocritical in that the horse you are riding has a
certain beauty and value, but the loose ones don't?  Then again, I find
roping of calves for sport rather cruel also.........
