Riverdance

Man this ride is fun! I just have this smile glued on my face. We finished
our first 50 after a 2 year layoff, in which I never stopped conditioning,
just didn't have the logistics on several fronts to compete at the 50 mile
distance. 7 hour ride time and every minute (well except for the 5 minutes
coming down rolling rocks hill) was just plain fun. I love all the water
and I love all the bamboo tunnels and Ceders was just up all day. He's even
learning to trot out when in the front all by his lonesome.

Kudos to Lynne Glazer and her superb team of volunteers for a ride well
done.

It was really cute. We'd come around a corner to a turn, and there'd be
some guy sittin on his quarter horse, big western saddle, full chaps, cowboy
hat and he'd drawl, "This way ma'm." and off we'd go. The contrast was
novel. I wish I had pictures - sepia tone 'em and they'ed look right out of
1895.
