I've done that!  "Dashing through the snow, in a one horse open sleigh" The 
horses love it!  I don't mind the bears...if I can see them at a "prudent" 
distance.  I just don't want to come crashing into some cub..."oh! 
whoops..did I squish you..sorry!"  Solstice thinks they are nice dogs.  "You 
wouldn't happen to have a granola bar with you Mr. Bear?"   Now why is the 
horse afraid of logs that vaguely look like a bear, but bears themselves are 
new friends?  And why is the horse afraid of the dead Yucca bush that laying 
down looks like the head of an African lion, but when we came across a 
habituated bobcat that came about one foot away, it was "Well hello pretty 
kitty!"
  Now I have that wildfire song stuck in my head...Beth in Glendora, Ca.
