Valerie's horse (Melissa Crain's Charbiel) was kicked inadvertently by a
stallion trying to kick back at another stallion at vet check one.
Charbiel got a nasty cut above the fetlock, was iced and passed vet check
two.  Evidently this injury caught up with him at vet check 3.  A real
disappointment for Valerie, Melissa and USA.  BUT, we still have a
TEAM!!!!!  Marsha Smith on RamsZ is well up in the top ten with Connie
Walker and Rita Swift currently 12th and 13th.  Stephanie Teeter and
Kruschev are still in the race and in fine shape.  I believe Jan
Worthington on Brown R Timothy is still near the lead.....
