    I won't pretend to be as good as Sarah Ralston at
picking apart hypotheses but your question does need some refinement.
1. by "popular," do you mean most often purchased or
2. used the longest on
    a. one horse
    b. more than one horse
    c. one rider
    d. more than one rider
3.do you want answers broken down by price category, i.e. something
like
    a. under $1000
    b. $1000-1500
    c. $1500-up
4. there is probably some regional variation in preference which ought
to be accounted for

    Josee, please don't take this as criticism!  My point is that there is no one saddle that will work for all horses.  Your question, as asked, is kind of like asking which are the most popular shoes for people.  I believe there is a real difference between what is "popular" and what will fit a particular horse/rider combo.  Popularity can be created by advertising and have nothing whatsoever to do with quality!
