Re: RC: Meals

Hmm. I usually consider myself a good cook, but definitely not at rides!
My meals are some combination of:
Canned soup (the campbells stuff in the jars that is not condensed is good,
condensed soup requires too much stirring!)
Canned ravioli
mostly unsquashed bread
yogurt/pudding cups
instant oatmeal
tea/water
and various munchies (nuts, trail mix, crackers, dried fruit, granola)

If it can't be heated easily over sterno or "just add hot water", I don't bring
it!

Dear All,

What great cooks! You are all much healthier than me. I don't have
living quarters - just a burner, so I cheerfully serve up chunky soup,
cup of noodles, or hot dogs. If people are lucky they will get some
good bread and cheese to fill up the cracks, and chocolate for dessert.
If it is cool, the juniors love instant hot chocolate at bedtime.

My favorite food for breakfast is hardboiled eggs, for they stick with
you longer than even oatmeal. Boil them at home, and bring in your
cooler. Remember that older eggs peel easier than fresh ones! Don't
forget the salt and pepper!

Anna
