They don't give the horse any more room to move around than if they were 
tied to the trailer though.  Plus, they use a bungee tie which IMO is 
lethal.  Imagine that thing stretching to its full length then the snap 
breaking......Ouch!  I can't say whether or not one is more sturdy, but if 
it's strong enough to hold a horse who cares. (they have made modifications 
and the new ones are improved)  Any horse that high-lines will do just 
fine, and boy it's a lot quieter than having to hear those dang metal 
panels all night long!
