Dear Laura
I would NEVER use a shock collar on a horse---especially an Arab. Do you
know that my vet said he'd seen Arabs choke themselves just being
lassoed. They panic. Please please, a fist in the mouth, hard enough so
you get your point across and so it does not seem like a game--and some
LOUD yelling--quickly and then all is forgiven is by far much better for
the horse. He needs to know that this behavior is unacceptable to you,
and not some invisible force that shocks him and he doesn't know where
it's coming from. You are very likely to have the horse in your lap if
you use the collar.
