Fwd: RC: Re: Feeding During an Endruance Ride

It is just like kids at school lunch. they would rather have what someone
else is eating instead of the usual. When I go to rides my friends and
myself all bring extra food so the horses will have plenty to "share".

Even though my horse had eaten her usual ration at the training rides I'd
gone to, and camping, as expected at our first endurance ride she was not
interested in it (beet pulp/cob mix). Luckily she was eating hay well, and
my friend brought hay cubes which she couldn't get enough of. Next time
I'll take hay cubes and hopefully she'll still eat them. :) I'll bring a
better variety of options too.
