feeding

Feed whatever you can get in them and offer lots of choices.  Beet pulp
is great for getting water in them, but just about anything is better
than nothing.  What they really want is "somebody else's", so make
friends with your neighbors and share.  At one ride, a group of us set
up a smorgasboard and just let them have at it.
