A farrier generally knows the gossip, especially when it's negative, about
himself.  We generally know the perpetrators of it and why.  Many times
it's either a misunderstanding (lack of communication) or someone who
wronged the farrier (bounced checks, no payment, slow payment, chronic
cancellations, no shows, etc.) and the farrier dropped THEM!  We don't need
clients like that anyway.  When you look at the number of horses a farrier
works with to make a living and compare it to a minute percentage of
"disgruntled" clients, the majority in favor of the farrier is far greater.
